529 to 127 votes in favour of a Robin Hood Tax at the European Parliament!

The European Union Assembly has reported to have delivered a landslide vote in favour of the EU Commission passing legislation for a Financial Transaction Tax (aka Robin Hood Tax). The resolution prioritises development of an international financial transaction tax but in lieu of support for this, Euro trading countries should establish a tax at the European level.
