Bill Gates asked to investigate how to raise money for development

French President Nicholas Sarkozy has requested Bill Gates present an assessment of how to raise much needed funds for international development and climate change to the G20 Leaders meeting in November this year. Sarkozy states that Bill Gates is an expert on raising funds for global poverty and no doubt hopes that as a world reknowned business leader, he can sway the opinions of the US and UK pollies that are yet to commit to a “Robin Hood” tax.
